which camera is the best in still fotography

    I want to know ...about a best camera for still photography, I love nature ..
    i don't need that cam with the aspect of fashion designing etc..i would like to take pictures and share with the community..please suggest me whcih camera is the best in today's market.

    The camera does not matter as much as you knowing how to use it properly. Give a pro a cheap $5.00 throw away camera and the pictures will look better than those taken on a $2000 camera by an amateur.

    My suggestion, spend a little less on a cheaper DSLR and buy some books or take some classes.

    Start off with some point and shoot cameras. Some entry level canon or nikon should be fantastic. Start taking pictures. look for yourself and once you get the idea of angles and think you could handle better cameras, go for some DSLR and strat shooting pro pics ;)

    cheap and best! i am using NIKON COOLPIX... 10MP and 15x Zoom! really a nice and cheap one! its around 220$!!

    This is depend on the budged that you have, for good point and shoot are about $250 or entry level DSLR about $700 kits or professional DSLR more than $1500

    That depends upon how much you can spend.
    But you will get a good camera in around $250. Like the Sony H-20 or any Olympus camera.:)

    I think Nikon is the best for still Photography, if you can afford some huge amount bucks then you can go for the latest brand from Nikon, you will feel the real experience of the Brand.

    First of all what spec. you want do you want SLR series or digital camera. If you want to change lenses in the future then go for digital SLR otherwise go for simple digital camera. Canon is the best among all the makers.
