Which blogging service is better?

I was wondering which blogging service is better? I have used Wordpress and that is it. Is WP the best? Or is there another one out there that beats WP hands down? Please let me know.

It seems like Wordpress.com is better for customization, plugins, and SEO. However, Blogger might be easier to use and some ways and allows monetization on their free service. However, if you can afford it, then probably go with paid WordPress hosting, so you can monetize it yourself. It is the best of both worlds then.

It would be nice if there was a free blogging service that was the best of both worlds... SEO... ease of use... monetization, and FREE. Yes.

 

In my opinion self-hosted wordpress.org blog is the best option. However, when you compare free blogging platforms wordpress.com and blogspot.com, then blogspot is better, as you cannot have any ads (e.g. Adsense) or affiliate links on your wordpress.com blog, but on a blogspot blog you can.

 

Wordpress.com, since it's fast, highly customizable and feature friendly, Blogger has lot's of Google brandding which I don't like.

 

i think wordpress on your own domain is the best. i use both wordpress and blogger and i think that wordpress always win hands down

 

there are several other hosting services but WP is the best option

Wordpress, just search for tutorials and guides on how to use it well

 

I am using Wordpress myself and I think it is great. There are so many free plugins and forums with tips and tricks.

 

I think Blogger is cheaper.. coz its free and elastic to earn money through blogger blogs..

 

From SEO perspective you must be using none less than Wordpress itself. Helps you get into Google quickly. Has awesome SEO friendliness.

Wordpress is still best for me, whether free or hosted on your own server. It allows for a lot of customizations, without requiring the user to have HTML experience. Blogger is great too but it just doesn't allow for as much customization as Wordpress.

 

Self-Hosted Wordpress is the best, no doubt on that. Wordpress has got a vast community who support with lot of free plugins and themes. Sky is the limit for level of customization of a Wordpress blog.

 

Fore Self-Hosted you can choose WordPress but if you newbie you can start with blogger because more easier.

 

own hosted wordpress is good because you can just add some plugins to
get what you want for your blog but needs some extra cash to spend for
your web hosting and domain name. But if you want to use a free blogging
platform then I rather go with blogger blogs because you can add your ads
and earn cash in any way with your blog. not like other free blogs out there.

 

The blogger interface is less complicated to use, but I think Wordpress is worth the extra effort. Wordpress themes are more visually appealing, and you can customise your blog without learning any HTML.
