    it really depnds on your niche. try a google search with sometyhing like this; niche optimized blogger templates

    If your content is good, your site designed well, and your SEO is on point....you can make just about any template do what ever you want.
    In my experience, I have never seen a certain template make all the difference in the world when it comes to ad clicks.
    Making the blog look good should be the first concern when choosing a design. Create and write for people, not Google.

    I would recommend a light template with 336 x 280 adsense ads at the middle of the page.

    it depend on u site data.my Blog have very simple template but i am earning very good from it.
