Which Blog CMS to go with?

I have a few choices, and I was wondering what you think is the better Blogging service to go with?

I was looking into wordpress (I am currently using it - installed WP-Cache). Due to my site being run on a 256mb VPS, it lags a bit. (sometimes the pages do not even load at all - blank). I will probably be upgrading the VPS shortly though. I was fairly happy with this

B2evolution. I heard some great things, but DigitalPoint does not support it as one of the blogs that are shown in posts. I wondered if anyone has had a really good experience with them?

    Any other suggestions/comments?

I guess you should make your VPS to serve WP. It is the best around for blogs. It's constantly updating and support are easily available because of the vast usage.

I would say Wordpress too. Your issues aren't with the CMS but with your server.

I'll have to say Wordpress too. It can be a little heavy on the query usage in some cases, but having wp-cache (have you tried the new wp-super-cache?) installed should alleviate that problem.

If you're not getting much traffic to the blog though, then it is definitely a server issue. Wordpress will run just fine on most shared servers.

A good rule of thumb is "If you have to ask which CMS to use for a blog, Wordpress is the way to go." Basically Wordpress is solid and the most supported blogging platform available. If some technical feature isn't already pointing you to some other CMS, Worpress is golden.
