Well, I live in South Florida where the Miami Heat just signed LaBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, getting the three top players in free agency. So, it's a tough call. Kobe Bryant? In the NBA finals three of four years, winning three straight (with Shaq), then demanding the big guy get traded. To Miami, where he helped the Heat win their first title in 2006, with a stunning MVP performance by Dwayne Wade. But - even though Kobe's ego wouldn't permit him to share Los Angeles with Shaq, you have to hand it to him, he is the best NBA basketball player right now, winning two straight titles after Shaq left. If it's best player on the court right now - Kobe, LaBron and Wade are probably even. If it's best player over the past 12-seasons, you really can't argue that it was Shaquille O'Neal. He is on the floor in the NBA finals six seasons, winning four times, and three of those titles, he was on the floor with Kobe Bryant. Michael Jordan wasn't superman, he had Scotty Pipen and Dennis Rodman with him too, just like Kobe had Shaq. I vote for the big guy.....Stan
I have to say Michael Jordan. There are still lots more of basketball years to come, but for now, I'll stick with his Airness.
