Would like to know the Credit Cards which work with Paypal for verification. Also please post the annual fees if any. I am looking for the cheapest.

I have an IOB - Visa Card, but Paypal says it cannot be used for the Expanded Use Program as the credit card doesnt authorise the 1.95 $. :(

I assume you are from India. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Look for an international bank like Citibank which issue international credit card such as VISA, Mastercard or American Express and that should work.

    Yes , from India. :)

Do they require a bank account ?

Did you mean without a bank account.

The reason I am asking is cos, my parents were NRI's , now settled in India.

    - So can I take a card in their name by opening a Savings a/c ?

    - If so, which banks provides it?

Ask the Bank. It appears that what I read from Citibank, they do not require you to submit anything but call then to be sure. They do offer free credit cards for life too.

It be best if you open the account in your name because if they want to verify anything, they will need to use your information to verify that you are who you say you are. If you use your parents data then that is not you. Of course if your parents apply for the credit cards then it is theirs.

However, do not go to Paypal and use your parents' credit card if your account is yours, use your own card for that. They want to know who you are and to be sure you are who you say you are. Although your parents are your family, they are not you.

My suggestion for you is to open a bank account in your name, getting a international (Master/Visa)CC with banks like ICICI is very easy. And also it is FREE for life time , they will deliver it within 30 days :)
Verify your PP a/c n enjoy.100% legit and no hassle at all ;)
