Hi everyone Konrad here, Just wanted to start a bit of a discussion about Backlinks as I have noticed many people searching for the best ways to get backlinks to their websites. Asking which would benefit them more, web 2.0, guest posting and so on. I have recently turned a page in my Backlinking and SEO strategy, focusing on the people that visit my websites. Making the websites easy to use, optimizing the speeds, creating awesome content. Focusing more on people also spilled over into my Backlinking strategy as I realised that I have been finding better backlinks and more response thanks to going into the communities and interacting with everyone with similar interests. I have had more people visit in a shorter period of time, and spending a significantly higher amount of time on my website which in turn has worked miracles in the Search Engines. My websites have information, Great information, additionally it has traffic that keep people staying on my websites for significant amounts of time. It all works amazing that way and I think if people begin to really stop focusing on numbers but actually on the people who visit their websites, then they will begin to see results beyond what they have had in the past. Just my 2 cents Regards Konrad
guest postings are closed so they are not reliable way of getting backlinks. whereas web 2.0 is the best way to get multiple backlinks. but while going for creating backlinks try not to over do it. social bookmarking or forum posting anything whatever you do must not be too much. try to limit while creating backlinks.
@KonRadicool It is always better to get organic backlinks , I mean by regularly posting in forums & contributing to the community. Also backlinks from sites related to your website niche / content would be of more value / quality than links from junk or unrelated websites. Try to post articles in directories with your signature that links to your site In whatever communication you have with the internet community make sure there is a link pointing to your site. The more the backlinks (quality & not quantity) ,it will fetch you top position in SERP
I don't think this is really true. What is closed is using guest posts to link to unrelated content. It doesn't seem that Google has a problem with the concept of guest posting or the idea that you may have a link in your bio. What they have a problem with is the relevancy of that link. If you are doing a guest post on an auto blog and your bio contains an online pharmacy link, they will have an issue with it. If you post a link on an auto blog and have a link to a site about auto accessories, that is no big deal. So what is actually closed is blindly putting your links onto any site that will let you write a post. You have to focus on something that actually relates to you.
If you have great content on website you don't have to worry about links because other people will link to you with pleasure. You just need to expose your content.
That is true, I found that after writing good posts people would automatically distribute the content for you which is really awesome Regards Konrad
I don't think this is really real. What is shut is using visitor material to weblink to irrelevant material. It does not seem that Search engines has a problem with the concept of visitor publishing or the concept that you may have a weblink in your bio. What they have a problem with is the relevance of that weblink. If you are doing a visitor publish on an automatic weblog and your bio contains an on the internet drugstore weblink, they will have a problem with it. If you publish a weblink on an automatic weblog and have a weblink to a website about automatic components, that is no big cope.
KonRadicool, do you realize you just summarized what Matt Cutts of Google has been preaching for years? Great content. Community involvement. Great speed. Clean coding. Great user experience. Maybe Matt isn't so evil after all.
One of the ways , I tend to also achieve this when working with some peculiar niches is to create contents that can be shared with a viral tendency. Even if the niche is tight and has no tendency of being shared, I usually would use a combination of the keyword with other keywords that has viral tendency and use an infographic to create a stellar content. The page is set up with about 3 or 4 social media icons. With this strategy, I gain a lot of credible social votes because the content is being shared and backlinks because some sites would then embed the infographic on their sites
I've found that the ability to connect with the user through well written and interesting content is the best way to promote your site. I work on the jewelry industry, for this site and with my experience I can tell you that the best kind of backlinks comes form happy users and customers.
i have one of my article ranked, its getting, down now, slowly , will consider all these suggestion, thanks for this wonderfull fourm
If you want to acquire quality links try to provide interesting and engaging content for your targeted users. The links will come from related niche and will be shared in other networks.
@KonRadicool are you Matt Cutt's relative? LOL just kidding! Anyways, you got it all wrapped awesome contents has great chance of going viral and organically will gain backlinks which eventually will have positive effects on the site. More like a "domino effect:
Backlinks are very helpful to a website especially if you are doing affiliate marketing or content marketing many people have be penalize by Almighty Google due to misuse or misunderstanding of backlinks. When you are planning of doing backlinks you must make sure that the site you are getting your backlinks from are related to your niche site and always link deep within your site that way all your backlinks will look natural in Google's eyes. Also another better place to get your backlinks from are social networking sites and other social media platform, Google love and respect backlinks from the medium and this help increase your PR and traffic also. Hope this helps?
backlinks from youtube help me alot also. Just by creating a youtube channel and putting up about 10 to 20 videos with some niche related value driven content that mention your website and a backlink in the description. Google loves that.
