So the title is because I heard that multiple backlinks from the same IP will only be counted once.. Is this true? I mean, if I spin an article and add it to 80 or so article directories, will it then be useful to spin more articles linking to the same page if those articles are to be uploaded to the same 80 article directories? Is it clear? My other point is how do I get 1000s of backlinks? Talking about people linking naturally to my site is just too slow. If I submit articles 80 article directories + my website to 100 social bookmarking directories it "only" makes 180 links. How do I increase this number to a thousand or two thousand? Without using any blackhat backlinking software or any of that stuff? The links should be white or atleast grey hat.
Getting backlinks from the same IP address is ok but not as good as getting them from other IP addresses. Why do you need 1000’s of backlinks? You could get 10,000 backlinks, but my 1 quality backlinks could still outrank you. Article spinning can work for you, but you are still going to get low quality links, and social bookmarking directories are generally going to be no followed links. If you are good at spinning I would suggest a program like seolinkvine. You can submit a spun article across a network of blogs and potentially get 1000’s of links. These are still low quality links, but you will get a link on the blogs homepage for a few days or few weeks.
Achieving thousands of backlinks isn't easy. However, you can outsource the task to reliable SEO service providers. I myself have come to this forum to market our SEO services. I am trying to become acquainted with the community first though. My best advice would be to use article marketing, press releases, bookmarking and web 2.0 sites to your advantage. Find ways to easy up the work that will be completed on your part.
I would try to get multiple backlinks from the same IP but also try to use multiple IP. for example I would say participate in 20 or more forum communities and post 5 times in each community each day. Then move on to another list of communities or directories and repeat the same thing. Do all the work by hand and after a year or so you will have thousands of links.
