Which Autoresponder to Use?

I am debating right now what third-party email marketing service I want to use and I am kind of lost on which is best right now. I am debating between either AWeber or GetResponse.

Hopefully someone can give me some feedback on this please and everyone who actually uses one of these can give their input. Thanks...

Aweber is a very easy to use and efficient system, I would recommend them.

Yes, I use Aweber and have yet to encounter a single problem. Moreover, I have the peace of mind in knowing that it will be unlikely that I will get significant problems including the ever present threat of false spam complaints.

Actually I've never tried GetResponse, but I can tell from my own experience (more than 4 years with AWeber) that AWeber DOES have some problems (especially when you need to run multiple lists for the same audience) - they won't let you make MANY of the things that are absolutely legal (even according their own TOS), but might look *suspicios* to some carzy and lazy support guy.) Plus sometimes their servers may be down after crashes or for mantainance (not very often, actually, but when you're losing thousands bucks because of this, it doesn't really matter how often - you're losing money anyway :( ).

    Getresponse FTW

Aweber has been going on a downhill over the past few years... 2 years they were still the king but getresponse caught up.

I have used both. I still use both. Each one has it's own strength.

Aweber costs more now but has a higher price. With that it brings more features.

GetResponse is lower in price and allows some more freedoms but has a slightly lower deliverability rate.

I am actually right now leaning towards GetResponse, the only thing that turns me off is apparently they only allow you to send a broadcast to 1,000 subscribers a day. What if I have more then 1,000 subscriber, then what? Well apparently, I've got to pay extra for that, so IDK.

The only thing I don't like about AWeber is their "tiered monthly fee." Maybe its just me, but its not my favorite. Plus based on what I'm seeing, GetResponse has more features (so far) then AWeber.

Keep them coming though everyone, I'm looking forward to more suggestions. Please suggest a software/script if you think you know one that is better then these 2.

The problem with having your own autoresponder script is that you'll end up doing all the relational work with businesses every time some idiot reports your list for spam. It's much easier to pay for a service and let them deal with it.
