I've been using Windows Media Player for the longest time; however, I've recently made the switch to VLC Media Player, which I'm starting to like a lot.
I have tried other audio players but I still prefer Windows Media Player because I feel comfortable to use it.
I use Windows Media Player because I can change songs from my taskbar. I used Winamp as long as I can remember but Windows Media Player starts faster so it's my no.1 now.
I used Winammp at starting, but then started to use WMP and I think with all codecs installed it works the best, at least for me and so now I only use this player and only have VLC installed for some movies/songs which WMP cannot run, and rest keeping my pc clean Hmmm I may give a try to this player
I use a player called Xion Audio Player. It's tiny, takes no resources at all. It works great, and it's really simple. I suggest you try it out!
