Which are your favorite A R Rahman songs?

    I am a big fan of A R Rahman and like almost all songs composed by him. He is my favorite music director. I listen to 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' (from Dil Se) everyday. All songs from Roja, Bombay and Humse Hain Muquabla are simply masterpieces. And I think songs from Lagaan depict his genius.
    Which songs composed by him do you like?

    I like mostly all of his song but specially the song from movie Roja

    The interesting fact is that this movie (Roja) is Rahman's debut and had won the (Indian) National Film Award for Best Music Direction that year. Hats off to him!

    Rahman deserved an Oscar much before. I however do not see how he got it for the song 'Jai Ho'. You must have listened to some of his earlier compositions. Aren't they way better than 'Jai Ho'? Nevertheless, the good part is that he won the Oscar, though quite belated.:) Jai Ho!
