Sure thing! Many may not actually be applicable to yours because Build Internet is primarily a web niche blog, but I'll give them shout outs all the same.

Script & Style
CSSGlobe
Community feeds on sites like Nettuts and GoMediaZine.

From this I'm getting a fair share of stumbles and delicious bookmarks. I won't lie and say that it's been enormous numbers, but it's been enough to increase traffic by several thousand per week and improve search rankings for some keywords.

 

@Kush86 - What do you mean adding more pages than posts? Could you clarify this for a Newbie like me?

My traffic comes from:
20% forums
30% backlinks
20% Organic
30% Social media

most of my traffic comes from search engines. I do get a fair amount from forums and blog commenting though. I'd its about 75% SE & 25% other

 

mine is getting 90% traffic from google, 6% from yahoo and 4% from unknown.

1.71% Windows Live
0.85% AOL

This is my search engine break down and where 95% of my traffic comes from for my blog. The Big G wins again

 

I got lots of traffic from stumbleupon. Whenever I write a new post on my blog I just stumble it.

 

I added a ton of resource pages for new bloggers and affiliate marketers. I haven't done many posts lately. Just visit my blog kushmoney and take a look at the pages. build a blog, resources(ton of other pages in resources), and poker & casino reviews.

 

@Jasonb25 - How do you do to get that much traffic from search engines?? Do you have any special recommendations or tips to get that much traffic from Search Engines?

I optimized my blog with a new theme ( the theme is available via my blog ) which is completely SEO'd up ( is that a word )

Added a few widgets and when i write i use long tail key words, plus i have been building backlinks to my blog and home website.

I still find it hard to get 20%-40% traffic from Search Engines with a PR2 blog like mine.

Any easy suggestions, tools to increase this??

You will get more hits when you get more content. So the best way is to keep adding content and more people will get in trough search.

 

First I mostly got traffic from pinging and pingbacks, I have a huge list of sites to ping. After a month I started to get traffic from Google because my blog posts started to get listed, and then backlinks. Now, for some reason I also get a fair amount of direct traffic.

 

My blog

- about 70% SE

- 20 % Direct

- 10 % Referring..

 

My %'s are changing quite fast. I'm starting to get a lot of "Direct" traffic throug "Doc POsting" (Excel or Word Files) in Scribd... I recommend this kind of traffic source.

 

Google and wiki for me
