Which are the best websites to sell a domain name??

Dear friends,

I have registered a domain name with a name registrar (9 months before) to start a website/discussion forum. Though I knew i was lucky to get that name in .com domain, due to my busy work schedule I was not able to develop it. I had given ads in a website for hiring designers for my site and soon after that, I started getting mails from members of that site asking me whether I'm willing to sell that domain name. I got an offer up to $1750 .

I contacted my name registrar's customercare and they advised me that if I'm able to advertise it properly I can get a min value of $2500 for this domain.

But I don't know names of genuine domain flipping websites where I will get more leads so that I can sell this domain name for a higher price. Kindly guide.

Sedo.com & flippa.com are quite good, but for domains with a sale value of $1K+ it has to be Sedo. If you're looking for another alternatives you can try to get your domain name auctioned at snapnames.com or namejet.com.

However, since you're selling PR domains my advice to you would be to stay away from flippa since they charge a sale fee. The best way to flip PR domains has to be webmaster forums such as digitalpoint forum.

Flippa is best but they charge you for listing while sedo list your domain for free.
Go for sedo, the market cap of sedo for domains is 50 times more than flippa.
