Here's our list of best paid directories by value. It compares the PR and Alexa rank against the price to calculate a value score. I'd start there and then see if the page where you'll be listed comes up in Google for any of it's text. If it does then it should pass some good link juice...and possibly some hits every month.

i don't have a ready made list, but i would call it for: yahoo directory (199?), kahuki (Jan 2007), joeant (sept 2000), sezza (May 2004), goguides (Feb 2001), skaffe (Oct 2003), incrawler (Aug 2003)
and there's a good reason i put their domain age/date there, it's one major factor any in establishing them as trust and authority sites

a few others would be greenstalk, splashdirectory, hotvsnot, directory.findelio, rakcha.

Agreed, whether it has PR or NOT... what matters is will it be around in a year from now or longer ;)

Better not submit to directories which has page rank less than 4 else they won`t help your site...

Don't worry about PR. PR is useless. It has absolutely no value. Worry about search engine rankings, increasing traffic, increasing sales, etc...

Ridiculous. PR is not the most immportant factor in directory submissions (or at least it shouldn't be). I will gladly pay to submit in a quality, unique PR0 directory that is well-maintained and run ethically than submit to a free PR4 directory that was built on a dropped domain with a free template, is full of keyword spam, is not well-maintained, and links to questionable sites.
