Hi I would like to know how would you rate the following link building strategies for the search engine optimization. Number 1/top one will represent the best link building strategy and the last one will be worst one. Article Submission Press Releases Blog Comments Directory Submission Forum Link Building Social Bookmarking Social Networking Other Your comments will be highly appreciated. Thanks
if you use only unique contents for article and press release submission then its really good. thanks
refer to the hierarchy, I would say article submission is the better link building strategic. Google article encourage readership, social sharing, and social bookmarking. Through one single submission it may return with hundred of backlinks automatically.
Thanks for sharing list of techniques You can also go for link wheel, classified Ads, Search Engine Submission, video submission
I would go for a mix of them all. Steadily and consistently building links from all the sources mentioned.
Google consider link building method unethical. The best way to built your backlinks is by doing article submission, forum discussion,Blog posting .These are the best way to get quality backlinks......
Do them all Google seems to likes a natural looking mix Post Panda it seems more important to use pyramids of web 2 properties in your link building startegy which would inlcude all if not most of your methods You wouldn't just rely on one method would you?
To be honest, in my opinion, all of those methods combined is the best way to go. As your links are from different sources so your link profiles look a lil better in search engines view. This is the best but not the fastest way for sure so it is a kind of medium, to long term thing building links manually, links from authority sites, links from relevent sites, relevant anchors text, contextual backlinks and so on.
Don't use link wheeling unless you want to end up in the Google Sandbox. Even if you did use Wheeling correctly, the time invested in creating your wheel could have been used to create quality posts on your main blog and then you could have invested the extra time in building backlinks towards that post. Trust me, you don't want to be in the Sandbox with a site that you have worked hard for.
Blog Comments - Waste of time, gets you no link value. Directory Submission - Waste of time. Google pretty much ignores link farm sites. #1 - Forum Link Building - The best way, you get to select the conversation and benefit from it too. #2 - Social Bookmarking - The best way, build pages, groups, etc at facebook, twitter, yahoo, etc. Social Networking - same as above #3 - Article Submission - Works well but look to offer your article on similar blog sites, they need content too! #4 - Press Releases - Unless you pay well for a submission your free pr is shoved to the back of that days 10,000th submission.
So many of these methods are very time consuming. I'm still very new to this, how does backlinks actually affect traffic?
Omg.. This is what Ive been thinking , but I continually hear people recommend Link Wheels and pyramids. Writing original articles and blog posts is a better use of time.
