I do SEO for a living and believe me when I say guest blog posts on high page rank websites are the way to go. As regards to in order:

Press releases
Article Submission
Social Networking
Social Bookmarking

...basically ditch the rest, do a litre for link diversity though

Trust me quality wins over quantity

 

Article submission ,blog commenting ,social bookmarking is the best link building strategies to come on the first page of Google .

 

Buy a couple of high-PR high-authority backlinks from aged domains. Don't buy thousands, just get a couple, from theme-relevant sites with little spammy outgoing llinks. This will give you a strong and stable presence in the SERPs.

I don't mean to sound too tortus and hare...but I have always had the best luck with "slow and steady". Do a combination of everything you have mentioned, blog comments, articles, directories, etc, just don't go hog wild up front. It looks very unnatural to go from no links to thousands of links real quick.

 

I pretty much agree with this...You want to concentrate most of your effort on finding "quality" links. But diversity is good, also. I find a natural pattern works best...You don't just want links from high PR pages. When you get a few good, high PR links, it's time to go get a bunch of low value links.

IMO, for every "quality" link you get, you should get 40-50 low quality links. This is because there's a lot more PR0 pages than there are PR3 pages. And any page that only has PR3 pages pertty much says "SEO" all over it.

Also, low value links can help with things like anchor text, IP diversity, link velocity, etc.

 

Focus on quality content bro .. forget all the other shitt

Blog comments is the probably worst way of link building, you shouldn`t use them on you moneypage, the same concerns the forum profiles, only second tier should be linked by this methods.

But besides I think all the ways of link building listed above are wasting of time if you think about competetive keywords, of course if you think about fast results.

 

Guest Blogging is the best activity to get good ranking in search engine.
