I write articles every week on affiliate marketing for a newsletter and was wondering if I could get some assistance from DPers please. I would normally go through my rolodex of contacts, but time is of the essence. Because I suffered some downtime on one of my websites which has eaten up five hours of my time (avoid Lunarpages.com like the plague), I am behind schedule with this week's article. Also, by asking others, I can avoid accusations of being biased. My question basically is: which are the top five US affiliate networks? If you could list them in order of size that would be useful. And, if you are willing to give an incisive quotation about one of them, that would be useful. I'd rather not have something critical because the article is for an affiliate network's newsletter and, although I always write articles which are as objective as possible, if I publish quotations which are critical of other networks it will be bad etiquette. I just wish to give a list and summary of the top five networks in the USA. Please PM me your responses (best not to post as people may get into a slanging match about networks ). If you wish to comment on a network or two, please send the quotation(s), your name, your company. Could be great free advertising for your business as the newsletter goes out to over 30,000 people in affiliate marketing and related areas. Thank you.
You should be know which the bigger one, after expert in affiliate marketing for Nine years. In my opinion the 1st is: CJ, 2nd is CJ, 3rd is CJ, 4th is CJ and last is CJ. keep in rock CJ
CJ and linkshare are pretty big but I think Azoogle is one of the biggest for direct CPA offers, meaning no subnetworks. You can see my top 5 in my sig.
This is why I asked for feedback: Just because I know a sector well doesn't mean I am so arrogant to assume I know everything. I like to get people's feedback so that my articles can be as impartial as possible. Anybody else got an opinion please? Many thanks.
There are different ways of determining the largest network. One is by number of merchants, 2nd is by number of affiliates, 3rd is by total dollar volume of sales/commission paid. For sales/commissions ranking (allows me to plug my program). The ranking is different for the other categories. 1. CJ.com 2. Linkshare.com 3. Performics.com 4. AZoogle.com 5. AcclaimNetwork.com
I'm sorry but I have investigated this subject for hours and not a single authority has even mentioned AcclaimNetwork.com. Great device to get your plug in though!
As I mentioned, by $$Volume, not by popularity or # of affiliates. Only 15% of affiliates bring over 90% of sales. We focus on these 15%. Talk to our vendors to verify the volume.
azam, I sent you a PM. ...It might be just me, but I'm personally not a big fan of linkshare. I could never find offers that fit my site or something that I wanted to promote on PPC. Obviously others have succeeded with them. I like Azoogle and Hydra. I'm having success with both. Both are CPA networks that have fantastic offers, a good number that don't require billing information.
