I'm using AVG Anti-Virus Free. If you have at least half-a-brain, that is all you need in my opinion :).

NOD32, fast, clean, reliable. Kaspersky is so slow and makes the PC slower. There's nothing to say about Norton. Worst one. I recommend you to visit NOD32's website.

I got ESET Nod32 Smart Security... It has an anti-virus, personal firewall, and everything else you'll need to protect yourself from the internet and from viruses/trojans/etc.

Here's my full opinion.... don't go with anything free.. It's not worth it... Go for a paid program, either ESET or Kaspersky. They are very similar, but I am using and prefer ESET Smart Security (which includes Nod32). They run in your background and you barely even notice. Doesn't use much resources at all. One thing that I notice about ESET Smart Security is that it takes a bit for it to load when you restart your computer or something like that. But that's the only time it ever take that long to load. All the updates are very quick, and doesn't even require you to restart. So in my opinion ESET Smart Security for life!
