Use Kaspersky/NOD32 and you'll never turn back to Norton like I did ;)

    I use NOD's deep scan feature :D
It works well w/o AV, but I have only 1 GB of RAM, so it's not such a big difference anyway :)

I know, but I have to pay my faculty first :) Because this computer is kinda' old, I have to do a full upgrate (means to buy a new one) so I'll wait :p

Here in Romania, a salary of $400/month is considered high... but he have prices even higher than in US, so... :D

here in the USA, $400 is not enough to pay some people's gas bill (for their car(s))!

I'm currently using AVG and to be honest I don't like it but I have to admit it does the job. Mcafee on the other hand is my best of the bunch, every machine (and networks using protection pilot) that I have run Mcafee on has run perfect.

I use NOD32 and AVG FREE on different computers. I much prefer NOD32, however if your budget is a concern I'd recommend that you look into AVG FREE.

I don't like AVG as it uses up WAY too many resources while running. Norton 360 is much better.

dude, I find that hard to believe. Norton, Norton 90, Norton 180, ... they are notorious for being massive system resource hogs
