I use Kaspersky, and it also cheap and best. For one year if you buy its about $10 for one kay and if you take 3 keys its about $12 which can be used by 3 people. Good for me...
I used the manual Windows live oneCare but the registry cleaner got corrupted on my computer and I can't get rid of it. Tried removing it manually and with Windows installer remover but the downloaded programs just won't delete. I haven't emailed Microsoft yet. I guess I should do that today. I like the free registry cleaner. I just can't use it anymore until I get rid of the previous corrupted oneCare files. Worked good the first 3 times I used it. I'm just kinda venting here since I saw this thread.
I use a Norton 360 v2 but it got expired i got it from my sister since she was working in of Norton's company so now my sister gave me the Norton Internet Security lol i get it for free ) i love it she buys us these because she is kinda paranoid of identity theif and such and i try my best not to go to suspicios website also
i use avast it is free you can do a boot scan before it even enters your os i think avast is one of the best it tells you before you even download a file that contains a virus to abort connection it found a threat i love this program
Does Avast have a registry cleaner? My ISP comes with an anti virus program. My ISP owns F-Secure and gives it away to its ISP members. The full program and not just limited functions. F-Secure also is free for the general public to use. Doesn't have a registry cleaner though. Window oneCare does have a registry cleaner but as I stated earlier the program is corrupt in my computer and I can't remove it. I can't download Windows oneCare until I get rid of the installed temp files.
Don't go for free ones. I am using Kaspersky Antivirus and it did not disappoint once ever. Always provided me the desirable results. You can try it .
Well I use ESET Smart Security 4, due to the highly flexible configuration panel and also because of its speed.
I'm sure all the anti virus mentioned in this thread works great. No mention of a free registry cleaner.
I use this one too. Not the free version though. I've used many others and found this one to be the best ever.
anything that is free. I choose not to run anything until i actually get an infection. I know, pretty stupid way of doing it. But it has worked for me for 2 years now.
