We also use AVG. While it is free, I have a hard time saying it's the perfect free solution. It's the best out there, but it does have its flaws. No anti-virus could satisfy all my expectations though.
i used norton internet security...works like a charm and i've never had any virus's (fingers crossed).
AVG Anti Virus, been using it for years, for instances of malware, spyware, and trojans, and viruses that not even big branded names like Nortons couldn't find, AVG did, so i am a loyal follower of AVG, bar none
I'm using the free AVG... I find it more accurate than other anti virus software. Just update it regularly and for sure your computer is safe.
Used Avast for years until I had a problem. Switched to AVG which turned out to be a major error on my part. Really doesn't work unless you pay for it. Really tries to push you into buying it. Went back to Avast and Avast is better than the old avast. And now a female tells me when it's updated. And really lets me know when a website is blocked. like recently natalieportman.com had a trojan horse on it. They still don't know how that got there. Used Norton years ago, but that flunked. Have tried Fix It's anti virus. The newest one doesn't quite work. Their old one used Trend Micro and that was better. But Avast by far and free gets my okay.
