Which Affiliate program to advertise with?

I have a small online business and we sell only one product: our 9.99$/year subscription to our site. I've been looking around for advertising opportunities, google adwords and the such. I wanna get some affiliate marketing going as well but there are so many to choose from. I don't want to have to pay any upfront fees.

Since I am a new company I don't have a huge budget, I can't afford ANY fixed/upfront fees to join any affiliate programs.

    Any programs like this?

Do a google search for what you sell on your site. See if any of the first page results offer an affiliate program, usually located at the very bottom of the page.

Not sure what you sell but clickbank is a good place to start.

With paydotcom you dont have to pay upfront....and the fees are lower than with clickbank...

Regarding advertising...adwords is the best choice you only pay when someone clicks your ad...you should make sure that you are spending less than the money you are making...which is obvious...if your ad is relevant with the keyword you bid and the landing page you could get targeted traffic for a few cents every visitor...hope this helps...

Even a commission rate as high as 50% out of 9.99$/year is $5, your product must be very popular and easy to sell in order to recruit enough affiliates that will actually promote your service or product in good spots.
I would suggest that you will take a look at the avg. commission rates of your competitors and whom they work with. i believe it would be easier then to see a clearer picture.
