I'm going to set up an affiliate program for a friend of mine and want to use a network which doesn't use affiliate urls such as cj ... qksrv.net/whatevernumber but rather allows www.nameofthesite.com and then uses java code or whatever to track it. Are there any affiliate program networks like those out there?
I know that there are some out there that let you use your own and track sales with additional parts of the code, I just forgot which programs they were.
Do you mean you want to have your own affiliate site i.e. like at a subdomain of their site. Or do you mean you want to have some code on your site (i.e. an image that sets a cookie on their site) so that when you sent someone there you go directly to www.shoptypesite.com and seeing as the cookie is already set they'll know? Um, if it's the second one then I don't know. I wish more affiliate sites just checked the http_referer rather than buggering about with affialiate links. But there's probably something technical that I haven't thought about to stop the working properly.
yes we want the url in the code to be our own url instead of being something different assigned by the network
Hey Mike, FusionQuest UltraLinks does what you want. Direct link to merchant plus some SEO benefits. http://www.fusionquest.com/
How did you find using the program 5starAffiliates Is it user friendly? Does it give you real time ROI stats viz a vie spend to pay ROI? Hope to hear back from you on those points and any other points that may be helpful Thanks
Hi britishguy, I have not personally used it but have heard fairly good things about it. Most of the programs I have managed or currently represent are on CJ, Shareasale or ShareResults. - all networks. I have a few Indies too on various platforms but none on Fusion. I think Shawn Collins uses it, so it can't be too bad.
Well, you can try MoreNiche, we offer couple ideas on how to mask the urls and make them visitor friendly. Our affiliate codes lands on site without showing them in form like www.product.com/someafiliate-329849, but nice clean www.product.com url. Plus, you can point your visitors to ANY page on the site, this way increasing your targeting to the next level.
