Which affiliate program for me? (niche)

I currently don't have any affiliate accounts so don't know which is best for me.
I'm in the process of setting up a site that features a Christian musician of the week which has a review of the artist. I wanted to offer their album for sale, should I do this through an affiliate program and which program should I use? I would only be selling one cd per week from the particular artist.

Any other ideas for this type of site would be great also :)

    Thanks for the help.

search in any search engine for 'music affiliate program'
choose some program relevant to your site

I didn't think of doing this, would this be better than using amazon or similar? and why?

    Thanks.

You need to experiment and compare. I would suggest splitting your site equally into three or four sections, not based on having different content, but on the kinds of ads you are going to put there. On one part put Adsense, put Amazon on another, and any other affilate programmes on the rest of your pages. Assuming you don't have one section that's vastly more popular than all the others, you can then compare the programmes to see which works best, and compare CTR.

No-one can tell you which programme will work the best for your website, because it really depends on your visitors. The best thing you can do is just test, and keep testing. And be quick to reduce your use of the ones which perform badly.
