On a webpage/site with a 500-600 page articles I want to place adsense embedded in the article so that I get the the best possible/maximum clickthrough rate. Which ad format would be the best to include in the articles?, in order to get the Maximum possible clickthrough rate? Leaderboard (728 x 90) Banner (468 x 60)- scatterd throughout the article Skyscraper (120x600), placed on left hand side of article? anything else? Please state whether you are speaking from your experience, from your own earnings? or are you assuming what works best?
Banner (468 x 60)- scatterd throughout the article Skyscraper (120x600), placed on left hand side of article
from experience, I think the large square on the top and bottom of an article works. (example) Or you can place the ad on the left or right hand side of the article. (example) it's all about testing really, make sure you choose colors that match your sites design as well. Good luck!
some people say 728x90, others say 336x280 you have too test by yourself but basically, as big as possible haha
In my opinion if you have organic traffic and a good content you can made money with any ad formats ..
300 x 250 rectangles are the best performers.......if the articles are short, use 2 of them, one at the beginning of the post and one at the end.Fill the side bars with an image ad of adsense or some other network. You can also make use of referral CPA ads. Also make sure you don't use too many ad units of Adsense.Increasing them might reduce the quality of ads and increase low paying ads.Instead, you cam make use of other PPC ad networks like Widgetbucks,Adbrite etc., You can also ad some link units in the middle of the posts. For long posts, try filling the sidebar as far as possible. One 300 x 250 at the top should be there. Some ads in the middle could also be added.Try not to have too many long posts....you will be confused with the ad placement. That's it.Those are my suggestions.Whether you follow them or not, please come back and let us know about ur success with different placements.
