Which ads are more suitable?

Hi guys

I want to ask which ads are more suitable ?

I mean

1.Text ads
2.Image ads
3.Text and Image both

On which ads can I get more dollars?

I would go with both aswell as it opens the door to more possible advertisers.

 

Text ads pays more than the image ads and besides image doesn't get much better CTR. Images are know to most people as ads so they tend to shy away from it. but I still have them both, text and image.

I keep them both, but as JulieV said, I too have a hard time believing people click on them as much as text ads, even if in theory one could think that one image ad would mean it is best paying than any of the 4 text ads, but I'm not sure it works that way anyway. So if I were less stupid I would probably stick to text ads.

 

I think it may actually depend a bit on your site

I think images ads maybe more likely to catch some people's eyes

but you usually get more ads with text (and so more chances for someone to see an ad that may want to click)

 

I agree that it depends on site but image ads are easy to notice and returning visitors will go ad blind after seeing the same set of banners for couple of weeks. But contextual ads have more options and you can benefit more with them if you know you to use them and blend them.

 

I think you are only the best person to answer this question.
Because.. it depends on your site,niche,etc.. Try different positions and different formats for some time..and track the results..and You'll understand what's best to your site.

 

If you want to earn a lot from Adsense I suggest you rethink your business model and find a site more suitable for Adsense

That depend on the type on content, if your article are more image oriented use image ads, else use Image+tect ads.

 

I use a tex link unit from google and image ads from adbrite. When I first started with adbrite I used tex and image ads the tex ads payed the most i got was 12 cents while the image ads the highest click was at 73 cents. Now I manualy aprove the ads and only pick image ads at adbrite. After a thousand views I reject the ad so people are not seeing the same ad over and over and has been working out for me. My site is a joke site with adbrite I have 3 other sitesjust have google tex ads on them

 

for me i prefer text adsense

 

Depend to the niche.
If your niche is professional niche such as law, health etc, text ads will be better
If the niche is game, wallpaper etc, then image will better
for those general niche, use both is fine

 

Generally ads with better mass, 328 x 286 work for most bloggers.

 

I find my image ads enclosed in articles does best but it really depends on your niche as some of the posts above mentions.

 

i like image ads and will click if i see one but many people say text ads pay more. true for a number of niche
