texts ads usualy perform well. however, there are sites where image ads do better than text ads. totally depends on your site layout, content, niche, and visitors
Yeah. It depends on the niche and the mood of the visitors but text ads, especially the medium and large rectangle formats always performed better for me...
Can anyone give examples of niches where it may or may not work? I think it may have to do with technically savvy audiences and non-technically savvy. My hypothesis, is technically savvy = image ads... non-technical = text ads. But I might be wrong.
I don't know about that. I'm "tech savvy" and I'm more inclined to click on a text ad. Image ads always looks so spammy and just looking for attention. Plus, there's a better chance that I'll find something interesting if it's a text ad (cause you can have more than one ad).
text ads..but if you got good websites and themes image ads works well too..so in short.it realy depends..
I used to use a lot of image ads but some of the designs are now really awful and tend to make your site look cheap and nasty. Since I have changed to text only ads I have seen no difference in earnings.
Image ads sometimes make Adsense earnings (CPCs) are high. I prefer image ads units for displaying ads in my site.
