Long term, simple links to products within articles have worked the best. But since I installed an Omakase banner I've received a lot more sales. I am small-time, though. Now I'm averaging one a day whereas I used to get may 3-5 per month.

I was thinking about a whole page for products (hence why astore was an option) but I'll try switching 1 of my google ads to an amazon ad.

I have entire pages of products that don't do a thing -- which is why I didn't mention AStore.

I have tried several Amazon ads, including Astore but they all have had dismal results.

'Product Links with Product Previews' works best for me.

Is anyone here using API to send key words to Amazon to generate the links dynamically?

I've built a test site that is doing this, but before I spend all the time to put it on my sites, I'd like to know if anyone has had any results with this.

    Thx

Hey - No responses to my last post.. Here is my follow-up:

I have the Amazon API working to dynamically generate product suggestions from key words. If you are small time site, you're thinking "so what?" However, if you host a blog (as we do) or have a database of many many products, this is quite interesting as you can send the keywords from the blog or product database automatically to Amazon as the page loads and return product suggestions that are RELEVANT to what the user is seeing. If you'd like to see it in action, PM me and I will give you details.

    Thanks for the tip.

For okaydrink.com I can't really use that as there isn't enough content but I've planned to create mobile phone blogs in the past (i own www.w850i.info and www.w950i.info ) and I could use it on them.

No problem. We've been discussing this on another forum... Someone is claiming they have hit $1k per month with 30 sites, using content-sensitive Amazon ads. This is my goal as well (although I'm not sure they are really hitting that). I'd like some partners in this project if there are any takers. I have the sites and tools, you put in your Amazon affiliate ID.. No real risk, just a tiny amount of time to experience.. PM or email if interested. Thx.
