Google has so many ad campaigns running together. How does it decide which ad to put on which page? It is understood that ads relevant to the content are shown on the page. But wht about the payout from each ad. If some one has bid 1$ for a keyword and some one 0.05 $ , why should Google place the 0.05 in any page? It should be placing 1$ ad in all adsense sites (unless nobody's is clicking it ) My site has a good CTR , but still I seem to be getting 3,4,5 cent ads. Wht do I have to do to get the higher payout ads. Is optimization sufficient to get them?
Quoting from "Building Your Business With Google For Dummies" by Brad Hill: "To some extent, the relative value of ads you receive is a factor out of your control" Does that mean I can optimise my pages for higher paying keywords , but I cannot make google give me the top ads? Does getting a good number of clicks per page qualify me for higher paying ads?
