    Choose best keyword for your site then use it in on-page content with H1 tage, do link building on that keyword with phrase matches. Means after selecting keyword do on-page and off-page activities for your website.

    There are many things in SEO apart from keyword research which you have to understand first.

    Of course, if you find some less competitive keywords which are profitable then you must go with it, your first attempt should be finding less competitive keywords so give time in finding some good keywords first.
