which AC is better split or window?.. HELP!

    hi all,

    as summers have started here in INDIA so i've decided to buy AC but really confused between split and window! please suggest me which one is better? whose cooling efficiency is more? money is not the matter for me.. i can go for any!

    currently i'm using window ac but no idea about split! please if possible then suggest me the company also.

    please suggest me!!!! it'll really help me out in making my decision.

    Well, a SPLIT AC is always better as it looks better and is also good in features. :)
    You can buy AC of LG or BlueStar.

    Split systems are definitely the way to go.

    Split A/c is always better.

    Don't buy any brands besides Daikin. Its the best brand available as on date and also consumes very less power. Its costly compared to any other unit but the best.

    I prefer to go with LG.. they are best in technologies and quality wise!

    I am using Art Cool for last 3 years its superb in cooling

    if you are traveling frequent then window AC can be a choice as its easier to fix etc but if you are not changing your accommodation frequently then certainly Split AC is the best choice

    split is better as it can collect air from anywhere and deliver where u want
    but in window u have to fix only where u have to collect the air

    If you need sexy look go for Split AC. Also there are some advantages as per as installation concern as well!

    if you want to save few bucks then Window AC

    Split AC's is the best. Window AC's are a thing of the past.

    Split AC is always a better choice to go for. Samsung, Videocon AC's are better. If u have a big room than buy a 2.0 Ton Split AC. Otherwise go for 1.5 ton only..

    I think window air conditioners do better cooling. Split units are just in fashion.
