I think MSN will lead the way with them joining forces with AOL. From what I remember reading AOL supplies Google with about 11% of their business. AOL / Timewarner will be a powerful force for MSN.

Haha, I can't believe it, I'm getting a whole load of red just for suggesting that msn might one day overcome the might of google.

Yeah the red comes frequent at this forum :S

Anyway i say msn as i like microsoft and Mr Gates as atleast they are honest about what they are and what they are trying to achieve. Whereas google gives it the "we are a company for the people blahblah bullsh*t" when their trying to dominate every field and become the new Microsoft they just dont admit it because their damn hippies.

Sorry, I don't see how company philosophy will have any effect in this instance? How will microsoft being honest about what it is help them beat adsense and adwords. I agree with your conclusion just not the route you took to get there.

jkomp, google lie and eventually people will clock onto the fact their just trying to be the next Microsoft thus adsense and google will become less popular and hopefully msn will reign.

AdSense. Google is a more believable company.
Their founders get the core philosophy behind the internet.

Although I love Chitika and have had great results from them on my site. I believe Google is the one that will perform the best over the long term.

I haven't really looked into Chitika yet, looks pretty good though, just don't think it will meet up to the other big players. Maybe it will turn into an Ask Jeeves - looks good, sounds good but just doesn't deliver results - I dunno :S

Does anyone not believe that the loss of AOL will hurt adsense? That is 11% of Googles income and traffic. Now I dont believe it will cause Google to fold as a company but I do see it as a major problem for them and a huge boost for MSN and there products.

Most americans are not computer geeks like most of us and even though AOL is probably one of the worse internet providers out there, they still draw large numbers of the average type user to sign up for their services and most of these consumers never leave the AOL network to find what they need.

Had not seen what yahoo and MSN has to offer but I am waiting for it. Google adsense has really changed the internet and PPC programs.

I think the smart money is on MSN. They're going to take down Google, although it may take them a couple of years to achieve this. They've got the infrastructure/product base that Google can only dream of. The only thing that has surprised me for a long time is that it's taking them so long to sort themselves out...Check out this article: http://news.com.com/Can+one+man+reprogram+Microsoft/2100-1012_3-5991320.html
