I started a blog on SEO and link building ..getting good number of impressions and ctr is also descent but i am getting only .1$ per click on an avg. Can someone please review the site and let me know whats going wrong http://uniquelinkbuilding.blogspot.com
all depends on what kind of ads you get on your blog, where you get your visitors from, etc. for the same niche, one site will get .1 per click while others might get lot more. lot of variables involved when it comes to determining how much you get per click
There is not much you could actually do about it, the advertisers aren't just paying that much for your keywords. Instead of concentrating on how to get higher clicks, try concentrating on getting more visitors. With those visitors, your earnings will increase too, even though they're low Good luck with your blog by the way!
Actualy I used to have a site ..not a word press blog before ...I used to get about .4 to .5$ per click...the articles and keywords are the same....I guess the problem is with the location of visitors now ...not sure though
Well, All You can do now is, Increase the Traffic and hence the CTR, You cant complain about the CPC to anyone!! See, there are thousands of SEO forums, and websites, and blogs or whatever... so the advertisers doesnt take a risk to put high CPC. So they run low, and hence you get low!! ~ExP~
Things have changed, even one month ago things could've been better than now, it's just the way of life. What you could do is: try getting more USA visitors, make your advertisements stand out better, search for more traffic.
10 cent is reasonable, what matters is, what is your CTR ? you can not judge the performance based on such small traffic
Can Pl. say with examples? How finance related sites can generate higher adv. revenue? Which are those sites or blogs. Just I want know, what are the keywords are being used there?
Earning 10 cents per click is not bad enough from Google Adsense. Can you mention the name of that site or blog? I want to just check that to clear my curiosity.
