Hello, I started a new campaign today on a fairly obscure inactive keyword. I put a much higher than expected per click amount, and I out a very healthy daily budget...money was not an issue... Given this, and given that I had only one other competitor, why didn't my ad show up above the organic results? Why did it only show on the far right side? I hope this made sense... Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to know how to get on top of the organic results, just like my other campaigns!!

It took one of my campaigns about 2 month to hit number 1 spot. with a bid of $6.50. actual cpc around .70. and CTR of 10% Google makes new campaigns suffer for a long time, before letting you fairly compete and take prime spots. Just my 2c
So I guess I just have to be bored out of my mind for few months and it might hit number 1? OK, glad the rest of my site has things moving and shakin! I was just trying to hit this one unique keyword with nice profit margin product.
