Whether worth to invest time on DMOZ?

I have tried so long to submit my sites to DMOZ but not successful all the time, come to the point wonder should I stop it? Please comments. Thanks

 

As it takes no more than a few minutes to submit once, why is that not a "good investment"? How much time have you been spending?

If the time you are spending has been to resubmit your site, then you probably have no one to blame but yourself. Resubmitting puts your site at a disadvantage.

 

Submit and forget about it, you may neverf get listed though ... I submitted 3 or 4 years ago. I would even pay for a listing but it is not an option. My advice is to give up on it and move on.

 

If you are bothering to submit to free directory lists, then by all means, submit to the ODP as well. You should find that the approval rate is actually about the same...as many free directories falter yet are still sticking around. If you are NOT submitting to free directories, then why are you bothering with this one?

 

It only takes a minute or two to submit a site so why not.

 

Please choose as deep level as possible and before submit to DMOZ please check whether the category you are going to submit has active editor. That will help to inclusion in DMOZ.
