MGID is not at all compatible with Google AdSense. In fact, the opposite is true. AdSense will ban you for using it as it breaches their TOS. Any suggestion to the contrary is nothing more than BS being churned out by MGid reps. See above for numerous examples. If you wish to excavate a bit more to know the real truth behind all this, then let’s get a bit analytical.

What Google AdSense finds so offensive is that MGID is a third-party traffic exchange program that artificially creates fake traffic as bots, and the small percentage of traffic that is real, is spam and invasive pop-up and pop-under ads.

This means that the traffic that comes through your site content is not interested in your website, blog, or any of its content. It's junk!

Now what is actually cooking behind MGID’s traffic exchange program, and its claims to boost your traffic? The answer is porn images, irrelevant contents and below standard materials, which are creating hoards of low quality traffic. Yes, you have heard it right – the traffic exchange is done through promotion of illegal pornography sites, some of which appear to have links to child pornography!

How can Google help you earn revenue with such illegal contents and degraded traffic? The funny thing is that you are being fooled without being able to understand a bit of it! Even if you do not wish to look so deeply, just consider what Google will do with a site that is filled with spam links that are totally irrelevant, not to mention the hoards of irritating pop-ups that keep on flashing, to drive away the meagre amount of serious traffic that may visit your site.

Last nail in the coffin is that you are actually not getting any substantial traffic at all though MGID. It is a manipulated job to fool you, and Google will hold you responsible for fooling it in turn and ban you one day. So, think which is more trustworthy for you – Google or MGID?

You're right bill77, I've removed mgid a long time ago, I haven't been banned at the time for this, nor alerted to remove it by adsense. But when you think about it, we really don't know what's happening behind the scene, for one I find it strange that some people working there would select my content for display, this is what they said. I call BS on this, and I was too stupid.

Its a traffic exchanging site. You place their widget on your site, you send traffic to them, they send traffic to you.

JUst read Google AdSense TOS and you will see that your a wrong. I can't believe people on here saying such utter rubbish...I think you must be MGID employee, on here to spam, and spew out their propaganda. Check out Google Panda and Google Penguin also, for more explanations as to why search engines are against MGID's black hat techniques, and how they are going to prevent sites like MGID operating with AdSense, and give them lower page rankings. Sites like MGID are poisonous, and they spread viruses and spyware all over the web.

Its safe and I have used MGID for may be more than 1 year with adsense. Nothing happens. Although after then MGID went ridiculous. Their ratio got low. So i stopped using it.
