    and would like to do it in bulk to save some money & time.

    Where's the best place to register them with some coupon codes
    that also includes whois privacy.

    You can register form godaddy with free whois privacy if you register 6 or more domain.

    I like namecheap.com it offers free whois guard for all domains. I know they offer a lot of coupons but I'm not sure if you can get a deal for buying bulk. Just google "namecheap coupons"

    Namecheap has the coupon HARVEST which brings the total to $9.28 any cheaper places.

    Namecheap.com offers free whois privacy for the first year. Answerable.com and Internetbs.net offers free whois privacy with no strings attached.
