I would say Youtube is great for hostinging video because people are constantly looking for videos on Youtube. Youtube can provide you with exposure if you're new or up and coming. But if want to restrict video to your site and remove external site branding, vimeo plus is a decent option to look at.
Youtube + Vimeo Plus, ($60.00/year), with Vimeo plus you can restrict video to your site only. I think youtube would be much better if it had plus version.
