Where is the best place to place adsense ads on my site?

I currently have a square in the center but let me know where you would place ads.

    Thanks

that center spot is good and will convert high. but this niche keyword type of site will just get sandboxed with time...these domain spamming methods are dead nowadays unless you get really lucky

The center spot is good. But a lot of sites are showing the ad in that place and most visitors are blind. The best way is to add an adsense ad inside your content. Be aware that if you have a blog and add an ad in every article, it may show up too many times and you will break adsense rules. You can try this plugin to insert an ad inside the content http://wordpress.org/plugins/fs-revenue-mazimizer/

As to placement, your current choice is good. You can also put something small in the lower part of sidebar, or at the footer -- it might give you couple percent more without making users really more ad-aggravated. As to your technique, I absolutely agree with @ggmedia

    Hi,
We recommend putting two banners 160x600 in a slider format, on the left and on the right side of the website. In addition, they need to be scrolled together with the activity of the user (move up or down in parallel with it).

Well it is suggested to place your ads above the fold. That is the section at the top which can be viewed easily by scrolling. So, you should put ads at the top. 336x280 large rectangle, the 300x250 medium rectangle, the 728x90 leader board, and the 160x600 wide skyscraper are suggested by Google with high Adsense income.

Basically the center is good but you still need to monitor the result and make change to get better CTR

While I can't say that AdSense is your best option, as I've used other alternatives with better luck, I agree with kundandamak that above the top fold is best. Qadabra, for example, recommended that I use a 728X90 ad on the top of the page and another smaller one on the right side. Also, an ad between texts. I wouldn't stick w/ one ad, I would do many different ads in various positions. Not too many, but something like up to 4.
