I guess it depends on your version of heaven and hell.

Spending an eternity anywhere would be a living hell.

I'd like to go to the northern wilderness, and be dumped there, so my corpse could be food for animals. Nothing more wasteful than burying one in a box, and placing one in a cemetery, in my opinion. I do not believe that outside a corpse, anything else exists past death.

    Luke 16:19-31 (King James Version)

19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

    22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

I don't want to go to Hell.

    Revelation 21:1
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

    Revelation 21:2
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

    Revelation 21:3
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

    Revelation 21:10
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

That's where I want to go, hope to see you all there. :D

Not sure. Hugh Hefner has spent what seems like an eternity at the playboy mansion and he still looks pretty happy.

As far as where I go, I couldn't care less. I don't believe a bad guy in the afterlife is waiting to poke me in the ass with a pitchfork. I did smoke a joint with Freddy from A Nightmare on Elm Street once, but that's different because a subconscious dreamscape != afterlife and he's actually a pretty cool guy and doesn't own any farm tools.

    Ignorance must be bliss.

How many of them smoke crack?

Were the doctors smoking crack too?

So, your saying people dream when they die?

Those are your athiest buddys. You don't believe athiest?

Some of them were on drugs (by their own admission), some of them were dreaming (by their own admission).

when people are about to die their brain waves change, This change can be induced in a living person and they too see lights and have visions.
Why would i believe what someone says on the basis that they are an atheist?

Just because someone says something doesn't make that evidence or proof that something exists. People can make stuff up and people can be mistaken. What you have to do to believe their testimonies are accurate is believe that nobody ever lies and nobody is ever mistaken.

What is more likely? That they are mistaken or lying or that they actually went to hell?

if i were to tell you that i see a fairy would you accept that as evidence that fairies exist?
