    Misha, I know this isn't answering your question as far as forum thread, but have you tried GoalPro.
    That program is an awesome goal tracking software.
    It costs $90 bucks, but I think it's worth it.

    I use it all the time and it really breaks down goals effectively into action tasks.

    No, don't use notepad it has no spelling check function :p

    You can try using Wordpad, it has those features :D
