I want to get my hosting site bigger and i want to know where a good place to advertise it. Either for free (sig) or paid (but not that much) Ideas ?

Luke, If you visit forums that deal with small niches, you will find that a lot of the members in those niches do not have a clue as to what they need to do online, but they want websites. Helpful experts are viewed as Kings and Queens in those situations, especially if they post helpful tips, information and advice. All that is needed is a sig. and an affordable hosting plan. I wouldn't bother in marketing forums, because most in those types of forums already have reliable hosts and wouldn't need it. By focusing on niches where people need AND want it, you would do well. Self-help forums, WAHM forums etc. Also, try local advertising. I found out that a newspaper in a nearby town was paying more than 300 a month for only 100 megs of space, and 1 gig of bandwidth. They couldn't believe me when I presented them with a much sweeter deal. It's amazing what local businesses will pay for hosting, they are getting ripped.
