Where can i get free wordpress theme and how do i install them, is it a straight forward process or requires some coding ?

Hi. There are some great sources for high qualiy free WordPress themes at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/01/08/100-excellent-free-high-quality-wordpress-themes/. Also, I believe you will find a few premium free themes at www.briangardener.com.

 

This forum always has some free wordpress themes. If you find posts with them they also list some great sites with hundreds of them where they let people download them.

Just download a theme and then upload it to the wp-content/themes/ folder of your WP installation. Then activate the theme in the WP admin panel, go to presentation > themes.
