A huge multinational corporation now which has gone through explosive growth, can this be sustained over the course of the next decade? Where do you think Google will be, ten years from now? What further acquisitions, areas do you think Google will be buying into? What further services do you think Google will be providing for it's millions of uses worldwide, ten years from now? Do you think the popularity of Google will grow or decline over the course of the next ten years? What would you like to see Google doing ten years from now? What extra services would you like to see Google providing?
It is hard to tell what will happen in the next ten years as technology is improving fast. But one thing is for sure, Google will be providing more and more better services especially search results.
They will try to keep expanding in an attempt to increase their market share. Instead of just offering one cell phone, they will likely have their own cell phone network. By then there will also be a Google operating system. Perhaps you will even be able to buy a complete Google computer. I think they will get even more dominant as their competitors prove that they do not have the motivation or ingenuity to challenge Google. Perhaps someone will seriously challenge them within 10 years, forcing Google to release a series of improvements and new services.
There's no way to know, I mean 10 years ago could ANYBODY have seen Google in the position it's in now? #1 in search, email, and all the other projects they've released. And all for free? Google will do big things in the future, but what they'll be is impossible to know
Internet might be replaced with a new technology Google ceo=commits suicides I don't know 10 year is a long way
The planet might not even be around in 10 years. If it's still around, then Google is going to be exactly where it is right now. The internet isn't going to go away anytime soon. It basically just started. There aren't any search engines right now that can compete with Google, so I really doubt in the future anything is going to be different.
Here's a Tweet from the Future from our one and only John Titor: http://twitter.com/johntitor/status/949905929
Ah yes, just like Hancock did. I do envision a worldwide, Googlenet. I think they do it now only in the Mountain view area. Wireless access anywhere, imagine that.
My guese is in the next ten years Google will still be the most dominate search engine on the internet, but they will also be much more. I'm seeing google branch out in to software, cell phones and cell phone service and much more.
The name is just so perfect. Can expand on so many levels. oh yeah, definitely google buying twitter, that's a given. Just a matter of when. It's going to ultimately be Google vs. Facebook. Kind of like a digitized version of Wal-Mart vs. Target.
The way they are going, introducing new interfaces and technologies. im sure they will remain on top even after 10 years, as they are now.
Either: a) Dried up remains of the company they once were b) Grown so big that the government had them broken as a monopoly Probably b
