Where to use articles?

I have a new blog, and have about 10 unique posts so far. I haven't done much link building...

I now have 10 unique 250 word articles to use... should I post them as blog posts? should I post them to ezinearticles? should I post them somewhere else? should I create 10 different blogs with 1 article each with a keyword anchored link back to my main blog?

What would help my blog the most?

I know I would get some traffic from the ezinearticles if I posted there, but thats not really long term traffic and won't help with SERP...

    any advice please?

Make 1 blog, in 1 niche (health or something)
than put your articles on your blog and then post your articles also on Digg and Ezinearticles
You can also put your articles in allot of article directories !
You also have to make allot of backlinks for your SEO

Post the articles on your blog and then, once they are indexed by the search engines, submit them to ezinearticles. You can also submit your blog post to social bookmarking sites.

Post 5 articles to eza, then post 5 to your blog.... In a couple weeks take the articles that you posted on EZA and post them on your blog as well! :)

make guest posts on blogs and forums, submit your site and rss feed to directories and aggregators (blogcatalog, technorati, etc), submit to social sites and networks, learn some seo, exchange links with other relevant blogs, etc

I would recommend that you NOT duplicate the content on ezinearticles. If you want, you could rewrite the content manually, then submit to ezinearticles. But, ezinearticles doesn't want duplicate content, and more than likely you are just causing your site to be competitive with ezinearticles instead of actually bringing that traffic to your own site, which should be the goal.

That's what I figured... I did post the worst of the 10 articles to about 30 directories, just for the backlinks, I thought?

So maybe submit 5 to ezinearticles to get backlinks and some article traffic...? Those 5 I won't copy or anything, just submit to ezinearticles only.

Yeah, I'd recommend not doing any duplicate content on any article directories if you can avoid it. But a lot of people do and I don't necessarily see a problem with it either. I just don't think you should be putting duplicate content on your own website and the article directories.

I use an article submission service to submit my articles and they submit each article
to all the article directories and I've gotten great results in the serps, you should not
worry about duplicate content you should submit the article to as many directories
as possible after an article gets indexed a certain amount of times in google the
article will be devalued but you will receive some great seo benefits from the article.

so if I were to NOT post the article on my blog, but submit it to like 30 directories, then it shouldn't diminish my blog at all through google's eyes, correct?

so I could take 2 or 3 of my 10 articles and just submit them to all 30 directories but not post them on my blog and be good to go?

You are correct on both, in my opinion.

I'll be completely honest. I've only received minimal traffic from any article directory other than ezinearticles. But, there have been times where I would have some extra time so I would submit the article to ezinearticles, wait for it to be approved, then submit it to the other a handful of other popular directories too.

I don't really see a problem with that method, but you shouldn't expect to receive much more than a backlink from the other directories. They just don't seem to generate as much traffic as ezinearticles does and Google seems to favor ezinearticles more too. In the past, my articles on ezinearticles has always ranked better in the search engines than places like goarticles.com.
