I know a lot of bloggers like tagging their posts. I was just wondering if anyone knew other places that use a similar tagging structure like Technorati?

Pinging and tagging are two different things. Pinging lets the website know that a post has been updated. Tagging will let them know which categories the post falls under. I'm looking for websites which I can tag, like Technorati.
I know exactly what pinging and tagging are but you can't tag posts on technorati except from your own site. Are you talking about the 20 or so tags they let you stick on the entire blog? zingfast.com is a tag search engine completely but it uses the tags on each post exactly like technorati.
