Where to submit general directory to to get traffic.

First, I am not interested in using submission services I am being very selective where I submit to. Link juice is not my primary concern. I want traffic to my general directory (not the one listed in my sig). So far I have submitted to and getting referrals from:
VMOptions
Directory Critic
Vilesilencer
Directory Rate.

What are the other TOP candidates for submission? Quality only!!

 

You will definitely get good traffic from vmoptions and directory critic. If it's a free directory, you can submit to other free lists and since you are not paying anything even 5/10 visits per day shouldn't be bad from those lists.

 

Why we need to pay for being listed?
Free directory can offer a backlink already!

 

When you list your directory in directory critic, you 'HAVE to' give a reciprocal link to the site, that's a kind of payment. Can any other list ( apart from vmoptions ) send as much traffic to your "directory" as directorycritic does?

I am not going to speak about 'general' pay for review directories.. That's a different debate altogether.

 

you can waste/spend some bucks on the trust bidding web directories for getting a higher position.
