OK. So where do I start? Whats the easiest to get going? Looking for something thats going to give me immediate returns (dont mind if its small) to get me going... Any suggestions?
If you want immediate returns, get a job or start selling something highly illegal on a side street in any big city. IM takes work and you're not going to make $1000's in your first week. It's amazing how many people come into IM with expectations of immediate returns. There are far too many scam sales letters out there that will make you believe you can make $80,000 in 4 days (just like they claim they did) Forget the hype, learn the basics and write your first article...
I suggest you start looking for a niche market that is in accordance with your passions and interest! You'll enjoy the process more and you will be more successful if this is something you really enjoy!
You're in a relationship with the internet Can't just say wham bam thank you ma'am! Although every now and again is okay. The only "quick" way to market something is a viral approach either with an amazing video, picture, or a heavy round of social bookmarking. Other than that, you must provide a service to the community you are reaching before profiting from them. Mutual benefit wins every time.
I agree, If it come fast and easy ( $$ that is ) it will go fast and easy, you need to edu. yourself and get busy.
If you have a group of friends in some instant messenger or social network site and if they trust you and truly want to hear what you have to offer then you could try giving them a cheap affiliate product with a brief and friendly suggestion letter. I'm sure some will go on and buy the product... most social networks don't like you doing this straight to their site inbox though... oh and then there's this spamming problem... so MSN would work IMHO. Go sign up with an affiliate network, I wouldn't recommend clickbank for newbies though... anyway, once in a network find some offers you're interested in, check them out and think - would I buy this?
