Hello, I have lots of time lately and I want to start up some small things online to generate a small side-stream of income (definitely working a fulltime job still, but able to dedicate 2-3 hours a day still, maybe more) I have many ideas, but I am not sure where to start (I am starting from total scratch) But I am thinking like, Blogs, Content websites, setting up a forum in a specific niche, some other things (im a musician and photographer, so can attempt to sell music/pictures).. I have at least 5-6 topics that I am knowledgeable and interested in writing for a blog/content website. I plan on using adsense on all the sites/blogs I make, possibly like up to 10 different sites. So, where should I start first? Is there anything that is proven to be the best starting point for a small online business? I can invest abit, possibly like $100 or so, but I prefer to start free at the moment, and work into it once I find out more about my direction and where to dedicate most of my time. Also, I am trying to establish an offline business as a Freelance musician (session musician/teacher/etc) and I know where to begin/etc, but I am wondering if it would make sense or if it is possible to somehow combine this with the online business, so I can register my sole proprietorship once and have it all in one entity (obviously different branches).. Does anyone do anything similar to this?
The best ROI is going to be in adult. Specifically in a CLIP STORE business model. What is great about this idea for a noob is that you can have success following some very simply steps and make your money back in a few months time. Then you can expand your operation, and keep capitalizing again and again. Over time you learn other ways to drive traffic, and how to manipulate SEO and SERPS. The value of descriptions, among tracking and other things. It is fairly dummie proof way. In almost any other method online you are going to either trade off a lot of cash trying to build up your site and invest in scripts, ad campaigns, link building and alike. Or you are going to use a bunch of free junk, and spend enormous amounts of time trying to make money off AdSense or affiliate marketing. It is not to say that it can't be done. However, you are talking about investing a lot of time until you start making money, and doing it that way you will always have to be investing most of your profit back into the business for upgrades until you have a decent scripts, designs, and so forth. Getting started is one of the hardest things, and there is so much to learn. The best way to do it is follow a method that has been proven, and learn along the way while making a return on investment. Good luck.
Start from mini niche market...next which is easy for you and leaset time consumtion project go for that cheers
It sounds to me like you want to be an affiliate marketer. If so, then make sure that is what you want to do because it is difficult. If your ok with that then read up on affiliate marketing. There is a book "Google Cash" that I think is free and has a lot of valuable info, you can read it online while at work. There are plenty of sites that offer free website builders, you could go with one of those. Although it is much better to buy a $5 domain name that is not part of a free website system and is named after your niche. You could set up a free blogs for 10 different categories, but a forum for 10 would be difficult. Yes, you could start for under $100 dollars and if you really try you may be able to do it for free. Doing something you like works out better than general affiliate marketing where you pick topics that make money not necessarily what you are interested in. I think you should start with your music angle. My suggestion would be to get 5 underground bands, that way you will have exclusive content. Build up a reputation as a site that finds undiscovered talent or something. Make youtube videos and offer free samples of the music. Even if the bands suck the site might get popular. build facebook groups and link to your website. Focus on 1 topic at a time is the best, worry about a 2nd website after the first gets you a couple thousand visitors a day. Good luck.
I think there can be some choices for you.You can choose to be a freelancer and write article for those guys who are in need. And also you can post some ads online to search a part-time job teaching music. Both of these two are so hot.
