Where to start over with BLOGs ?

Some of you know that I recently lost 13 blogs at blogger.com because of their rules regarding blogs linking to each other as spam blogs. I worked on my blogs daily, posting to each for a year, and lost hundreds of hours work.

All of my BLOGS info is still there as of yet, I just lost all access to posting and editing them, they will be removed as time goes by in the caches etc.

Now I have saved all of the past posts and info in each of them, but where would you start over at or with what ?

I tried wordpress but my isp and host of 10 years does not support the php and other functions it requires.

Is there any other FREE blog sources besides blogger.com ?

If I use blogger.com under a new username and host the blogs on my site, they can still just as easily terminate my posting access etc since I would be using there online posting editor, etc.

Where would all of you turn to ?

See if you can get an invitation to join www.wordpress.com, or request via their home page.

It's really worth coughing up the US$50 a year to have control over your destiny though.

I can set you up if you want. I have been planning to offer free blogs in the near future and this would give me the kick in the pants to finish it up this weekend.

Wow. It does not require anything that is "current" technology. Time to find a host who is not living in the past. Seriously, WP does not require anything new or cutting edge to run.

It could be a windows host? Many of them don't support php.
